You can't escape your reflection in the mirror but seeing yourself everyday you don't realize how much your body changes until you put on your old clothes.
Pregnancy took its toll on my body and depression kept me trapped in an unhealthy lifestyle for too long.
This weekend, while out shopping, I saw the reflection of my old self in another young mom and my heart went out to her. I could feel her pain and sadness and knew there was nothing I could do or say to help her in that moment. It his her journey, like it was mine, to find a path to my own healing.
I found inspiration that resonated with me, and that may have been the true beginning to my healing. I don't know if anyone will find synergy with my journey, but I know if I just share it, someday, it just may light that spark in someone to start their own journey to their best life.
I can't go back in time and help the lost woman I used to be, but I found answers when I was ready to ask the right questions. I am excited to see myself getting to my optimal weight and living a much happier and energetic life.
Wishing you your best health always!
